Chop A Forest Beginner Guide

Chop A Forest is a free Roblox incremental simulator by WCT Capital (place ID 103363457515322, universe 10767386157), created on 21 September 2026. It is not The Forest, Sons of the Forest, Cut the Forest, the s&box game Chop the Forest, Chop Trees for Treasure, or 99 Nights in the Forest. Your first hour is a loop: hit a tree, pick up logs, sell them, then buy the Axe.

I reconstructed the first hour from MMORocks’ beginner, backpack and money pages (17–19 October 2026) and ProGameGuides (15 October). The order matches. The official game text also says “SOLO & FRIEND RUNS SAVE!” which is why the mistakes list tells you not to expect a public server to keep the run. I have not timed a personal hour inside the client.

Step	What to do
1	Punch a tree until it falls. Each hit drops coins. You start with empty hands.
2	Pick up log blocks. The bag starts at 5 slots, plus 5 in hand.
3	Sell at the log pad. Walk around the chipper and pick up the coins it throws.
4	Buy Hold (about 20 coins), then the Axe for 150 coins.
5	Buy the backpack on the stump: 175 coins for 15 slots.
6	Buy the Rusty Runabout for 500 coins (carry 50, speed 36).

Mistakes that waste the hour

Spending coins on hand upgrades after the Axe exists.
Keeping chopping with a full bag so logs despawn.
Leaving the coins the chipper spits out.
Pressing 3 and accepting a Trial Saw Robux prompt by mistake.
Expecting a felled tree to put logs in your bag. You pick them up.
Expecting a public server to save. The game text says solo and friend runs save.

Controls reported by the same guide: WASD, Space, E, number keys, left click, Tab for upgrades, R for the shop. Servers hold 18 players. A party is you plus three. Next, read coins and the tool order.
